Part of Hunter College Japanese Program’s Networking Japan: Career Development Series, this event will feature three amazing translators: Jocelyne Allen, Takami Nieda, & Stephen Snyder –all of whom have translated some of Japan’s most famous horror and sci-fi manga and fiction, including works by: Junji Ito, Natsuo Kirino, Hiroshi Yamamoto, Yōko Ogawa, Ryū Murakami, Asa Nonami, Otsuichi & Hideyuki Kikuchi. They will be discussing their careers and the challenges of working with these genres.
