The World Kamishibai Forum celebrates the diversity of kamishibai (a Japanese storytelling form using illustrated boards) performance styles, venues, and applications around the world today. This month, two new performances will be shared on the Write Out Loud YouTube channel, featuring Jackie Kerin (storyteller, author, founder of Australian Kamishibai Association in Melbourne, Australia), Anna Manuel (storyteller, educator in Bangkok, Thailand), and Bernard Caleo (co-founder of AKA, comic artist, performer in Melbourne, Australia). The three performers will answer audience questions about their craft during the May 15 webinar.
