Oakland Fukuoka Sister City Association will hold a series of free virtual lectures as part of its Japanese Living Environment program through September.
In this lecture, Jay van Arsdale, building contractor and Japanese woodworking expert, will show and tell about the art and craft of woodworking in Japan: tools, techniques, and the built environment of a traditional Japanese living environment.
The webinar series is supported through the CGP Japanese Gardens Microgrant program.
