Dr. Saori Katada’s (University of Southern California) work includes research and publication on international political economy, including regional integration, foreign aid policy, financial politics and free trade agreements. She will give some prepared remarks on her new book, Japan’s New Regional Reality: Geoeconomic Strategy in the Asia-Pacific, followed by a Q&A/discussion moderated by Dr. Adam Liff (Indiana University, Bloomington). Dr. Katada and Dr. Liff are both Abe Fellows (1999 and 2016 respectively).
