This grant supports the creation of a class on contemporary Japanese politics and society with guest lecturers and an embedded study tour to Japan. The trip includes a visit to the National Diet, cultural landmarks in Kyoto and Nara, companies in Shizuoka and Osaka, and the Peace Memorial in Hiroshima. Kinki University and Aoyama Gakuin University will host academic lectures. |
