OutlineThe International Writing Program (IWP), with support of the Japanese Language Program, will support a fellowship and residency of a Japanese author in the fall semester, 2013. JF funds will be used to defray costs associated with the fellow’s travel, accommodation, and stipend.

OutlineThis project involves study abroad trips to Japan as part of a psychology course titled, Power of One: Japan. Graduate students will visit mental health sites in Japan and will join students from Ochanomizu University to explore cross cultural issues in psychology. Finally, there will be a symposium at Ochanomizu University. JF funds will be used for graduate student travel, speaker support, and symposium related expenses.
