OutlineThis grant supports Northwestern University’s newly integrated Japanese Studies program, which connects Japanese language study with student and faculty research in Japanese literary and visual culture. Funds support the creation of a new tenure-track position, enhance curriculum development (course development, research trips, internships, etc.), and expand library acquisitions.
