The Education Grant program supports projects from nonprofit organizations that will assist K-12 students, teachers, and the community deepen their understanding about Japan, promote cross-cultural exchange, and nurture global perspectives.

2. Global Partnerships Grant Small
This grant aims to support to create and develop networks between Japan and the U.S. on grassroots level, and to support Japan-U.S. collaborative efforts to help resolve issues of common concern. Projects that fit in one of the following two categories are eligible for consideration.

3. Grant Program: Japan – U.S. Global Partnership
The “Grant Program: Japan-U.S. Global Partnership” is a grant program that support Japan-U.S. collaborative projects that will help resolve global issues of common concern, projects that build partnerships among diverse professions and backgrounds necessary to successfully address those issues, and to support the individuals who organize and participate in such projects.

4. Grant for U.S.-Japan Community Grassroots Exchange Program

5. Japan America Society / Japan Society Capacity Building Grant Program
This program aims to support the JAS in its work during and beyond the pandemic with the Capacity Building Grant Program. In order to further strengthen JAS in the NAJAS network and to enhance their effectiveness in carrying out their mission, this program supports capacity building projects that demonstrate feasibility and organizational sustainability and will lead to organizational growth.
