Join the Japanese New Year festivities at the East Tennessee Historical Society on January 9, 2022. It will be a day filled with games and activities celebrated by many Japanese during the New Year.

 

Enjoy hanetsuki, origami craft, calligraphy, kendama, mochi-tsuki, sake tasting and more! (The events from 1PM & 3PM requires reservation)

 

Ms. Masayo Ishigure and her group of musicians will be coming in from New York for a special live performance showcasing traditional Japanese instruments. Her musical performance can be viewed via Zoom for those who are unable to attend in person.
