About

This symposium will bring together leading scholars from Japan and the United States to discuss community network building, disaster resilience, disaster response, infrastructure design and evacuation and displacement.  The event is part of a long-term initiative focused on international prevention and preparedness of disaster.  Capacity is limited, and participants are asked to register in advance.

This symposium is co-hosted by the Anne and Henry Zarrow School of Social Work at the University of Oklahoma and the Consulate General of Japan in Houston.
