Grand Forks is excited to announce two free events, thanks to the generosity of the Japan Foundation, New York’s education grant!

On Friday, July 12th, audience members will experience the dynamic, heart-pounding and soulful sounds of taiko at a free performance and hands-on workshop by a professional group from Winnipeg, Canada!

The following morning, July 13th, Fubuki Daiko will perform again at the local farmers market and Japan Fest! Japan Fest is a grass roots event organized solely by volunteers from the community!

In anticipation of this event, local students have started learning taiko and will perform using their homemade trash can drums. We look forward to seeing everyone there!
