About

2023 Uptown Matsuri Festival at the Uptown Market in Independence is for everyone to enjoy watching Three Trails Taiko and the Tatsumaki Yosakoi Dancers as well as vendor tables to purchase products from Japan. It is also a great place to learn about our sister city exchange or living, working, or going to school in Japan as several information tables will be available to ask questions and hear experiences from alumni that have gone to Higashimurayama, Japan as part of the Independence Sister City Exchange.
