About

Yoshitaka Amano is a creator of some of the most fabled and internationally recognizable characters of popular culture in recent decades, including the groundbreaking anime Speed Racer and the beloved Final Fantasy video game saga. Since a 1997 sojourn in New York City, Amano has cultivated a distinct painting practice that is simultaneously independent of, yet deeply entwined with, his work. The exhibition surveys approximately 30 years of Amano’s multimedia paintings, introducing visitors to his spellbinding visual arts lexicon.
