About

The 6th annual Summer Family Festival at Japan Village in Brooklyn New York. This year’s theme is “An Introduction of Japanese Local City’s Culture and Various Traditional Japanese Folk Dances all over the Country,” featuring four major cities in Japan.  

[Yamaguchi] Traditional local dance contest  

[Morioka] Local food culture “Wanko Soba Noodle Eating Contest”  

[Aomori] Local traditional dances and Japanese sake tasting   

[Yamagata] Local traditional dances and rice cracker  

The winner of the contest can get a flight ticket to Japan.
