About

The Association for Asian Studies Annual Conference brings together over 3000 Asian studies scholars from across the globe. As the largest Asian Studies Conference worldwide dedicated exclusively to Asian Studies research, topics covering all countries in Asia across 30 academic disciplines, this annual conference is the ideal setting to meet face-to-face with university faculty and staff, including professors, administrators, librarians and students.

The Japan Foundation New York will have a booth in the exhibitor’s hall at AAS where conference attendees can learn more about our grants, fellowships and programs. Please stop by. There will be fliers, buttons and other swag.

We will also be hosting a reception at AAS on Friday, March 13 at 7:30pm and we welcome all conference attendees.

JFNY has a booth and reception at AAS every year to spread awareness about our Japanese Studies and Global Partnerships grants.
