About

Japan-America Society of Wyoming (JASWY) will hold Japan Festival at Laramie High School in Laramie, WY from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Sunday, September 21st.  

The festival will bring many Japanese culture and art experiencing opportunities to the public free of charge to promote understanding of Japanese culture and friendship between the U.S. and Japan. JASWY will offer a wide variety of hands-on outreach activities for K-12 to learn and help familiarize with Japanese culture and arts.

The performing artists are Denver Taiko, Edo Ensemble (Koto, Shamisen, and Shakuhachi), Laramie Kempo Karate Club, Laramie Martial Arts Academy (Jujutsu and Aikido), Cheyenne Budokan (Kendo), and Fort Collins Kendo Club.
