About

Tradition of Excellence: Japanese Techniques in Contemporary Metal Arts will feature the work of 22 Japanese artists, including two of Japan’s Living National Treasures. It will also include six American and Japanese American artists who have studied and adapted the Japanese metal techniques into their own studio practice. This exhibition will promote Japanese cultural heritage and share traditional craft-making skills.
